Dr. Zimmerman opened Oxboro Family Chiropractic in 2000. He has repeatedly been voted by his peers as a top chiropractor in Minnesota. He specializes in acute injuries, chronic conditions, and wellness care for patients of all ages and body types. He holds a degree in law enforcement from Normandale College, a Bachelors of Science in human biology, and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University. Dr. Zimmerman is a Richfield native and has lived in the Bloomington and Richfield area his entire life.
Dr. Boike received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2018. Prior to chiropractic school, he earned a bachelors of science in Exercise Science from North Dakota State University. Dr. Boike treats spinal related disorders ranging from acute to chronic with a combination of adjustments, soft tissue therapy, and stretching. He has elective training in treating extremity dysfunction, such as shoulder, knee, and foot pain. Dr. Boike currently lives in West St. Paul with his wife, Kayla, and their chocolate lab, Quinn. In his free time, he enjoys weight training, playing basketball, and running.
Ms. Benjamin is Oxboro Family Chiropractic's massage therapist. She previously lived and studied massage therapy in South Carolina at South Eastern Institute of Charleston, where she graduated with honors. She continued her education at South University of Columbia, South Carolina, in physical therapy. She has worked as a massage therapist for over 8 years and loves helping patients heal from injuries and achieve optimal health and relaxation. In her free time, Denise likes spending time with her daughter in South Carolina, playing tennis, going on road trips, beach outings, reading, and exploring new cultures. She is also an animal lover.
Mrs. Zimmerman provides outreach support to ensure total patient satisfaction. She is a member of the American Evaluation Association and has a consulting practice in Minneapolis that works with various organizations throughout Minnesota and nationally to improve program efforts and performance (www.acetinc.com). Mrs. Zimmerman holds a bachelor of Arts in Family Studies and Human Development from Arizona State University and a Masters in Public Policy and Program Evaluation from the Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota.
Maria is a chiropractic assistant at Oxboro Family Chiropractic. Originally from Western Mexico, she moved when she was one-year-old to Minnesota and grew up in the Twins Cities area. She loves trying new adventures, spending time with her daughter, Michelle Rose, and family and watching her dad play baseball on Sunday’s. Did we mention Criminal Minds? Maria loves watching crime shows and documentaries. Maria enjoys seafood! One of her favorite dishes is Ceviche. Maria is bilingual in spanish and english and enjoys being able to assist our Spanish speaking patients while helping make them feel welcomed!
